Since cofounding the firm of JHS Architecture Integrated Design, Inc. in 1986, Architect, Randy L. Sides, AIA, NCARB, has had the privilege of being responsible for the Architectural projects of new and renovated construction throughout the United States. These projects include Sustainable Health Care Facilities such as Hospitals, Out-Patient Care and Physician Medical Office, Hotels, Condominium Hotels, High-rise and Low-rise Hospitality Resorts in coastal environments, Hotel Convention Resorts with Spa and Recreational Amenities.
The firms’ experience also includes Corporate Office building and Business Parks, Manufacturing Plants, Public and Private Schools from Elementary through High School and University Teaching, Administration, and Athletic facilities. JHS Architecture’s experience includes numerous projects with Palmetto Health System which is a multi-hospital system, the Medical University of South Carolina, the University of South Carolina, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, and Samaritan’s Purse International Relief.
JHS Architecture is proficient in the interpretation of the code requirements such as the Americans with Disability Act (ADA), Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), and the Guidelines for Design and Construction of Hospitals and Outpatient Facilities, and the National Fire Code that the citizens of the United States have come to trust and expect to encounter as they use Healthcare, Corporate and Hospitality facilities both within and outside of the United States.
