Dr. Harinder Sidhu was selected as a National Talent scholar in high school, and then graduated in Medical Science from Government Medical College in Amritsar, India. After completing his medical degree, he worked in the field of General Surgery for a few years before he decided to pursue postgraduate programme in Business Management from the prestigious Indian School of Business. He joined the Apollo Hospitals Group in 2007 to lead the Corporate Relations team for a 500 – bed multispecialty hospital and India’s first health city – The Apollo Health City, Hyderabad.
Dr. Sidhu has been spearheading the Apollo Hospitals Group’s strategic marketing initiatives as a member of the corporate team for planning and implementation. He has led one of India’s largest cardiac awareness campaigns – Billion Hearts Beating, which received awards at a national level. Of specific interest to him are the Apollo group’s forays in the international arena and he has travelled extensively to many countries across the world. He has many years of work experience with optimal mix of Indian & international market expertise, complemented with academic excellence, medical knowledge, customer orientation, and proven ability to execute large-scale healthcare programs.
As the Senior General Manager – Corporate Development, Dr. Sidhu now leads the international partnerships for the Apollo Hospitals Group and is invited as speaker at various international forums for thought leadership in healthcare delivery.
